Hollywood Park is the 2nd oldest park in Stockport, officially opened on June 3rd 1893.
After many years of neglect, Hollywood Park is set to become a great place for all the community thanks to the hard work and determination of the local people who set up HEART (Hollywood Environment Action Residents Team) in 1999.
The location of Hollywood Park, near the centre of Stockport and easily seen from the railway viaduct and Town Hall, is steeped in history. Check this out on our 'local history' pages.
