I have placed a game by Marc in the Games section.

The A team drew with East Cheshire B thanks to wins from Tony Soames, Phil Colville and Denzil. The B team played a drawn match with Stockport C thanks to wins by Marc and Ray.There are updates to the Stockport League page and to the Club members page.In the latter I have put the number of graded games played this season.

A date has been set for the Winter Blitz Tournament: the 22nd February. All members and guests are invited.

Macclesfield continued to pick up points in the Stoke League, defeating Holmes Chapel Rooks by 3 - 2, through wins by Vijay and Marc. There are additions to the Stoke League.

I have put the latest results of the Club Championship in Club Competitions 2009-10. At the moment Tony Soames leads on 4 points.

Site peculiarities - a note from the site updater
Computers are illogical as anyone who works with them knows.
For the past few months the site that hosts the Macclesfield club site has been randomly refusing to accept updates, refusing to accept page positions, and changing punctuation signs other than full stops and pound signs to square boxes.
If any viewer comes across any peculiarities of layout or punctuation, I apologise.
